The Premium Account is a convenient cheque book account that combines the features of a regular savings account and a current account. It is a product designed to provide higher interest on deposits of customers who need cheque books but do not make many withdrawals. An initial deposit of GH¢50 is required to open a Premium Account at Capital. In addition to maintaining a minimum balance of GH¢50 a maximum of 4 withdrawals/cheques per month are allowed without any commission or fees. For Premium Accounts with balances above GH¢1,000 there are no restrictions on the number of withdrawals/cheques.
The Group-Link Account is designed to provide convenient and affordable banking services to customers who desire to operate individual accounts within the framework and the support of their groups. This type of account is primarily intended for agricultural co-operatives and groups of traders or artisans working in close collaboration with Capital, as well as to serve people in areas where the Bank would not reach with its other products. This account is particularly suitable for customers lacking suitable collateral for credit, because it will enable them to save and access credit with personal petty assets and group solidarity guarantee. It takes only GH¢10 to start a Group-Link Account with Capital.
Daakye Account is designed for workers, especially those in the informal sector such as farmers, traders and artisans, to save (even small sums) regularly towards the accumulation of funds for retirement andsecuring business capital.An initial deposit of GH¢20 is required to open a Daakye Account. In addition, clients are encouraged to choose from several contribution plans ranging from GH¢ 0.50 to 10 per day which has a maximum maturity period of 20 years and a minimum maturity period of 5 years.
A Capital Education Account is designed to provide a means for parents and guardians to save (even small amounts) regularly over a long time towards the accumulation of large sums of money for their children/wards to acquire higher education. Parents and guardians who seek to open this type of account need to name the intended beneficiaries of such accounts. An initial deposit of GH¢20 is required to open a Capital Education Account.
